M.E. Herrera Dental Clinic is looking for a dedicated and patient-friendly Dental Assistant to join our growing dental team. This role is ideal for both fresh applicants willing to learn and experienced dental assistants who want to work in a professional, supportive clinic environment.

As a Dental Assistant, you will support the dentist during procedures, help ensure patient comfort, and assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient clinic.

Scope of Work / Job Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures (chairside assistance)

• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment

• Set up treatment rooms before and after each patient

• Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after procedures

• Assist with suctioning, handing instruments, and mixing dental materials

• Maintain cleanliness and proper infection control in the clinic

• Organize dental supplies and monitor inventory

• Support basic administrative or clinic tasks when needed

• Follow clinic policies, safety standards, and ethical practices

Qualifications

• With or without experience (training will be provided)

• Willing to work 5 days a week

• Responsible, organized, and detail-oriented

• Patient-friendly with good communication skills

• Honest, trustworthy, and professional

• Willing to learn and work as part of a team
